I am a health psychologist with many years experience working with primary care and chronic pain patients and health sciences students, clinical residents, as well as providers. I see individuals 18 years old and up for depression, anxiety, chronic illness, self-esteem issues, women's issues, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, grief, stress, academic issues, life-work-school balance, test anxiety, test-taking and study strategies. I believe in body-mind connection and meet the patient where they are emotionally. I think of therapy as a rebirth of yourself to yourself. Therapeutic modalities I use include CBT, EMDR, MBSR, Integrative, Motivational Interviewing, psycho-dynamic therapy, person-centered, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), supportive therapy.
